Our parish is financed solely by the members of the parish and through private donations.

We require help to support the Priest, to pay the church rent, to purchase church utensils and also to meet other everyday operational costs. Your financial help, even the smallest, will not only help to support the parish, but also to develop its spiritual, cultural and educational activities.

Currently we rent premises but we do hope to buy or build an Orthodox Church in York for the benefit of all of us and our children. With God’s help we will be raising funds for the purchase of our own church.

You can make your donations during and after services, if you are a UK tax payer please consider signing a Gift Aid form which enables the church to claim for the repayment of tax on your donations without additional cost to you the donor.

Make a bequest

The Church is authorized to receive legacies. Thus, if you wish to make a bequest to the Church, draw up a will in order to avoid disputes when the time comes. It is therefore desirable to create a folder. For this, you can contact the treasurers.
